We want you to be happy with NodeZ. This page explains how cancellation and refunds work.
Payments are processed by PayPal. Refunds are issued back through PayPal to your original payment method.
Before you activate your key: 14 day refund
If you have not yet activated your license key, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify the request.
Once your key is activated: no refund
Activating your license key is the point of no return. Once a key has been activated we cannot refund it.
The reason is straightforward. NodeZ generates ordinary Enforce Script that you keep. Anything you build stays yours and keeps working forever, even after your subscription ends, because the generated mod has no dependency on NodeZ. Once you have activated and used the tool, the value has already been delivered and cannot be returned.
Activation is recorded on your license, so it is always clear whether a key has been used. If you want to try NodeZ and are unsure, simply do not activate the key until you have decided.
This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer where those rights apply.
Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time from the customer portal, or from your PayPal account's automatic-payments page.
- Cancelling stops future payments. It is not the same as a refund.
- After you cancel, your license keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is cut off early.
- We do not refund partial months for time you did not use.
Renewal payments
NodeZ renews automatically each month, and we email you nothing to activate on a renewal because your existing key simply keeps working. If a renewal caught you by surprise, contact us within 7 days of that charge. If you have not used the editor since that renewal we will normally refund it and cancel the subscription. This is a courtesy rather than an entitlement, so please cancel in advance if you know you are done.
When we may decline a refund
We may refuse a refund where there is evidence of abuse, for example:
- repeatedly subscribing and refunding;
- sharing, publishing, or reselling a license key;
- attempting to circumvent license validation.
Because mods you generate remain yours and keep working permanently, subscribing purely to generate a mod and then reclaiming the payment is not something we can absorb. That is the reason activation ends the refund window.
How to request a refund
- Email contact@node-z.com from the address you subscribed with, or reply to your PayPal receipt.
- Tell us your license key or the email on the subscription.
- We will confirm and process it through PayPal.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. They typically complete within a few business days, though your bank may take longer to show it.
Problems before you ask for a refund
If something is broken, please give us a chance to fix it first. Most issues are quick to resolve, and you can reach us at contact@node-z.com or on Discord. Asking for help does not affect your right to a refund.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback locks the payment while it is investigated and will suspend your license until it is resolved, which is slower for everyone than us simply refunding you.
